Back in July, we brewed up the later dubbed Moon Boot Ale.  It’s a beer destined to be drank on the first day you really need to whip out the Moon Boots and trudge through the snow.  Well, today is that day!

Now, we at the Tremendous Brewery have had a pre-release taste, and we’re fine with what we threw together.  Not as spicy as we thought it might end up, Moon Boot has a nice nose of cinnamon close and malt, with a malty, lighter than appearances may lead you to believe mouthfeel.

Pair with some oatmeal raison cookies fresh out of the oven and I swear you’ve got a touch of Winter magic in your mouth.

So here’s to Moon Boot, to Winter and to all who care to come watch traffic run amok in the snow this evening.
